We were in town for a short weekend to celebrate a close family member's wedding at Chattooga Belle Farm. The house was the perfect location. It was the perfect size to accommodate our family. The house was cute and clean. We loved the little thoughtful touches like the fresh flowers in the rooms and the artwork. We went to The Gauge several times and they really do have great bagels! Our time was spent doing wedding related activities--that did not include waterfalls, swimming or hiking :{ BUT we now have a reason to come back!
This was the perfect place for our family to stay for a wedding at Chattooga Bella Farm. Just around the corner. We had 7 adults and 4 kids age 2 to 10. There were toys in a chest in the carport, games coloring books, corn hole. Great place for the kids to run around. They also loved the back bedroom to watch tv and hang out away from the adults. We had a bonfire one night in the fire pit. Loved watching the stars! Theres a book showing the renovations they've done, open kKitchen update and extra shower were perfect additions! Would definitely recommend for bigger family groups! Close to Chattooga activities and the Lodge. Thanks for a great stay!
Chanda's place was clean and comfortable and easy to use. The kitchen is well furnished. Based on the photos, I thought we were backed up to the river, but that was not the case. I also thought it would be possible to do some fire pit stuff, but that would have required a lot of work on our part. The bathrooms were my main issue. One bathroom is hard to find off the kitchen. Maybe leave the pocket door slightly open to show where that room is. The drain of bathroom with the tub needs to be repaired right away. It backs up while taking a shower and that is not good. It was very convenient to our family wedding which was at Chatooga Belle Farm.
This airbnb was great. The house was very spacious with plenty of amenities. We particularly enjoyed using the grill and fire pit. The corn hole set was fun! Overall a great stay and would totally recommend it! It is located very close to Chattooga Belle Farm!
I’ve stayed at a few AirBnb and I have to say this is my top favorites! Homely and clean and free of clutter! Tastefully appointed with amenities, Chanda was friendly and accommodating and responsive to my questions. Kids loved the bunk beds and the adults had their private rooms. Kitchen is amazing with everything needed. Location is great for the outdoor activities we did (hiking and whitewater rafting). So peaceful and quiet - this was a perfect getaway from the busy city life. We will definitely come back!!
