Stumphouse Park is about 15 minutes away. You can walk part way into an abandoned tunnel, hike the Blue Ridge Rail Road trail and view Issaqueena Falls. Mountain biking trails, creek side picnic tables, large covered picnic shelter, bathroom facilities. (Park entry fee $5/per vehicle)

Distillery at Chattooga Belle Farm

The public is welcome to sample and purchase spirits grown, fermented, distilled, bottled and labeled on site at Chattooga Belle Farm. The distillery is 1.3 miles from the house. Enjoy a tour and tasting overlooking the orchard setting. Open Monday - Saturday • 10 am - 5 pm

Chattooga River Lodge and Willie's Tavern

A casual and fun place for lunch or dinner just 2 miles from the house. Willie’s Tavern, at the Lodge, is open 11am-9pm weekdays, 11am-10pm weekends, every day of the year. They have outdoor seating and a courtyard fire pit. Live music several nights a week.

Chau Ram County Park

A nice option for families. It's about 15 minutes away. The shady park has playgrounds, covered picnic shelters, picnic tables next to the river, bathroom facilities, trails, and handicap access to a waterfall. (Park entry is $3 per car.)

This is the Take Out for Section IV river trips. This is where you can leave a shuttle vehicle or have someone meet your group to pick you up after running Section IV. It is also a nice place to stand up paddle board.
